DX5 performing New Order "Blue Monday" cover (2025 "LFO at the end" version)
Cover performed on yesterday's live streaming, with some LFO improvisation at the end. Gear used: Left; Roland Promars MRS2. Roland JP8000. Right: Emu Emax II. Backtrack (and all heard sounds) synthesized/produced/sequenced by me (except "Uranium" choir, extracted from Kraftwerk's original version and then chopped and looped, as NO did back then). Drums are Oberheim DMX samples sequenced from scratch. Original song composed by Gillian Gilbert, Peter Hook, Stephen Morris, Bernard Sumner. Performed here by DX5 Jose Maria Bara on 2025, January 3rd. *Grainy picture is not a filter: I use an Hi8 (S-VHS evolved version) camera and an analogue video capture card, via composite signal, for streaming live. This edit is taken from YouTube's automated self recording (hence more compression might've been added, specially noticeable in the audio)
