Wellington train derails, several people hospitalised | Stuff.co.nz
Six people have been injured after a train crash in the Wellington suburb of Khandallah on Saturday night. The train derailed at the end of a run-off track around seven PM. Train operators say that a concrete block was laid just last year as an extra safety measure - and it stopped the train from careering down the bank and into homes.
