BREAKING: Major narcotic operation underway in Los Angeles, officials give update

We are watching as local and federal agents have made their way to Los Angeles for what is being described as an active narcotic operation. Our partners at FOX 11 in Los Angeles were in MacArthur Park as law enforcement, including DEA, were at the scene. It appears from looking at video from the seven that several people were already in handcuffs as the active investigation was taking place. Authorities told FOX 11's crew at the scene that law enforcement officers were there to arrest people possessing or taking the drugs. Officials gave an update on Thursday, including Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan Hochman who previously confirmed federal agents will be at MacArthur Park for longer "than a day."
