Purbaya made this statement in Jakarta on Thursday (July 23, 2026). Purbaya also warned participants in the tax amnesty program and the Voluntary Disclosure Program (PPS) who have not yet fulfilled their asset repatriation or asset disclosure commitments. The government has given them until the end of 2026, after which time supervision will be tightened, including by examining the tax aspects of all funds coming in from abroad. Purbaya stated that the government has provided various facilities to help taxpayers realize their commitments. Several investment instruments have also been prepared to bring funds back to Indonesia. However, these efforts are considered to have not yet produced optimal results. Watch the full video below!
