Attention Autism session 4
The Speech and Language Department have created an Attention Autism session for you to watch at home. Attention Autism is a motivating and creative approach to build attention and early communication skills. This video includes Stage 1 and Stage 2. Stage 1 - The Bin - Everyone attends to the same object that has been chosen by the adult to help focus the pupils attention. Stage 2 - The Attention Builder - pupils develop longer and sustained attention levels. (It's ideal for your child to watch this in a room with minimal distractions but we appreciate that this is not always possible!)
