1st Gen Toyota Tacoma 1995-2004 Shocks, Coil, Leaf Spring Replacement - Bilstein + ARB OME - Part 3

In this video series, we're replacing the worn out shocks, coils, and leaf springs on Mike's 2000 Toyota Tacoma 4x4 Base model truck. While the 1st gen year models run from 1995-2004, these parts seem to be specific to 1998-2004, so you may want to double check your part numbers if you have a 95-98 model. On the front of the truck, we are replacing the factor coils with ARB Old Man Emu (OME) 880X coils. We were hoping to find that these coils were taller than factory, but they were very close to the same height. Luckily, the Bilstein 5100 Series shock 24-249928 provided an adjustment circlip that allowed us to adjust 2" inches of lift on the front. Video 1 covered our experience with the front coil springs and shocks. This will be a 3 part series. In videos 2 and 3 we will explore the ARB OME Rear Leaf Springs EL122RA and EL122RB, with new Bilstein 5100s 33-247717.
