In this series, we discuss characters who could find their way into Super Smash Bros. Ultimate or future entries, then go into ludicrous detail on what they would be like if they joined the fight for real! This time, we're taking a look at someone from a franchise often considered neglected as far as newcomers go. The Legend of Zelda may be one of the biggest names in all of gaming, but for many varied reasons, it hasn't seen anyone new join Smash in over 12 years! This long newcomer drought has led to fans wondering if anyone from Hyrule (or the other realms the series occasionally visits) will ever have an invite sent their way. While several names are brought up in Zelda newcomer talk, among those most discussed is Impa, a recurring name just like Link and Zelda themselves...and one who just happened to have a very prominent role in a recently released title. So, what if this newly imagined take on Impa did get a chance to join the fight, despite hailing from a spinoff title and despite the recent Spirit Event? What form could her ancient Sheikah techniques take that'd help her stand out in Smash?
