How accurate is an 80 year old neglected Mossberg 44 US-D rifle? I was surprised!
I finally took my rebuilt Mossberg 44 US – D rifle out to the range. This rifle has very little money invested in it, a lot of it was peace together, and it was in very poor condition when I bought it. I was able to achieve at least three 1/4 inch groups at 25 yards with varying ammo, and for me that is exceptional accuracy out of a rifle like this. This does not even have a target barrel on it.
