A Tribute to Rev. Vivian Samuel Gordon “Mr. G • Santa • Turks” Today we gather not only to mourn the passing of a remarkable man, but to celebrate a life that reflected faith, service, humility, and unwavering dedication. Rev. Vivian Samuel Gordon was more than a pastor, Whether he stood behind a pulpit proclaiming God’s Word or worked diligently with his hands, he served with excellence, integrity, and love. Known affectionately as “Mr. G,” “Santa,” and “Turks,” he touched countless lives through his wisdom, kindness, and willingness to help anyone in need. His gentle spirit, warm smile, and steadfast faith left an unforgettable mark on all who had the privilege of knowing him. He believed that true greatness was found in serving others. He led by example, loved without condition, and remained faithful to God’s calling throughout his journey. His legacy lives on in every life he encouraged, every soul he prayed for, every building he helped raise, and every heart he inspired. Though our hearts are heavy with loss, we rejoice knowing that he has heard the words every faithful servant longs to hear: “Well done, good and faithful servant… Enter into the joy of your Lord.” — Matthew 25:23 Rest peacefully, Rev.
