A road that disappears into the sea twice a day? We experienced this extraordinary adventure on our campervan trip through Denmark! Together with our friend Markus, we started in Lübeck and set off northwards as a small campervan convoy. After a stop at the Eider Barrage and our first night on the Wadden Sea, we reached the island of Rømø, where the strong North Sea wind almost blew us away. The highlight of the trip awaited us on Mandø: a spectacular tidal road that is only passable at low tide. The crossing provided a thrill before we were greeted by an impressive tranquility on the island. To conclude our journey, we visited friends in Hvide Sande and enjoyed a relaxing evening in the dunes.
