2024 Toyota Land Cruiser Toyota’s next-generation LandCruiser has been revealed, ahead of its local launch in mid-2024. the new-generation model is based on the TNGA-F platform that underpins the likes of the LandCruiser 300 Series and Lexus GX SUVs, as well as the Toyota Tundra and Toyota Tacoma pickups. Measuring 4,920mm long, 1,988mm wide and 1,860mm tall, the all-new Prado is 95mm longer and wider, and 10mm taller than before. Its 2,850mm wheelbase is 60mm longer than before, and now matches the length of the LandCruiser 300 Series. On powertrain front, the 2024 Toyota Land Cruiser Prado will draw power from the 2.4-litre turbocharged petrol engine with mild- hybrid tech for the North American market. The motor is tuned for 326 bhp and 630 Nm of peak torque, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. Meanwhile, the European, Japanese, Middle Eastern and Australian markets get the 201 bhp 2.8-litre turbo diesel engine with 500 Nm shared with the Fortuner and Hilux. The motor will get a 48-volt mild hybrid system by 2025. 2024 Land Rover Defender Small, medium, large is the best way to think about the Defender 90, Defender 110, and Defender 130. The Defender 90 is the smallest of the bunch, riding on a shortened wheelbase and equipped with only two doors—making it a rare SUV coupe. The Defender 110 strikes a middle ground, sized more like a conventional SUV and offering two- or three-row seating within its four-door body. The Defender 130 offers the most interior capacity; it has the same wheelbase as the 110 but a longer body that makes its third row much more spacious. Defender 90 The Defender 90 measures 4323mm long (4583mm including the spare), 2008mm wide (2105mm with the mirrors out), and 1969-1974mm tall on a 2587mm wheelbase. Ground clearance is 225mm-226mm, with 850mm of wading depth. With air suspension, there’s 216mm or 290mm of ground clearance in off-road mode, with a wading depth of 900mm. Defender 110 The Defender 110 measures 4758mm-5018mm long, 2008-2105mm wide, and 1967mm tall on a 3022mm wheelbase. Ground clearance is 228mm, with a wading depth of 850mm. With air suspension, there’s 218-290mm of ground clearance, with a wading depth of 900mm. Defender 130 The Defender 130 measures 5358mm long, 2008mm wide (with the mirrors folded) and 1970mm tall on a 3022mm wheelbase. There’s 290mm of ground clearance and a maximum wading depth of 900mm in off-road mode, with approach, departure and ramp angles of 37.5, 28.5 and 27.8 degrees, respectively.
