The Texas Rodeo, MotoGP 26, Moto 3 Season, Round 2, COTA, Sim Racing

Hi everybody and welcome back, This is Round 2 of my MotoGP 26 Career, so were at the Circuit of the Americas for a 5 Lap Race. If you haven't seen Round 1 in Thailand, I finished 2nd after a eventful race. I signed for the Code Team who race a KTM in the Moto 3 Class and hopefully I can hold my own against the best in the class and progress to Moto 2 and finally sign a Moto GP contract. Its a short season of 11 rounds and I will try and bring you 1 round every week until I complete my goals. I have decided not to use Practice and Qualifying as if I do I will most probably put the bike on the front 2 rows and then it would be a boring race watching me lap in first place for 5 laps so I shall start every round from the back of the grid so we have some drama and overtakes. Ai is set to Adaptive and Stewards are set to Light and only punish the serious offenses. (as I touch the green more often than I would like to 😀) I race in Cockpit View but felt the Replay Shoulder Cam looks awesome and adds more immersion to the race so I switch over views when the race starts. As usual I will not be using Rewinds as I feel they are cheating and ruin the immersion, as you can see from the amount of mistakes I made. I messed up quite a few corners and nearly lost the front on a few occasions ! At this moment in time I will be playing on flatscreen as MotoGP 26 does not come with native VR support but hopefully soon there will be a profile for UEVR and I can test out MotoGP 26 in VR........watch this space 😀 Also if anyone has tried this out with a gyroscopic controller please let me know your feedback in the comments, if its a significant improvement in the controls I will pick one up to race with.
