RV Boondocking In Twin Lakes Colorado & Leadville Colorado History

In this video, we are RV boondocking in Twin Lakes Colorado! We also explore Leadville Colorado's history,. We hike in Twin Lakes to the Interlaken Resort and explore downtown Leadville. As fulltime RVers, we often try to Boondock off the grid in our RV to save money. This dispersed camping location that we found looks over Twin Lakes Colorado and is absolutely incredible! There is free RV camping all around Twin Lakes Colorado, and most of the RV boondocking is free! On the first day in Twin Lakes, we hike the Interlaken trail, which follows the edge of Lower Twin Lake to the abandoned Interlaken Resort. Then we also take the quick drive from Twin Lakes to Leadville Colorado where we hike the Mineral Belt Trail. The Mineral Belt Trail is an 11-mile loop that goes through mining ruins throughout Leaville Colorado. After the hike, we head into downtown Leadville Colorado where we walk the shops and enjoy vibrant Leadville Colorado.
