How to paint miniatures imitating antique marble
I painted some miniatures of the Winged Victory of Samothrace to look like ancient marble sculptures. This is a very simple project, but maybe it will be useful. I want to use these 3D printed figures as Objective point markers in my games. The models are 1:92 and 1:69 so that they can be used with 1:100 and 1:72 but still stand out from the rest. I didn't draw veins since the original sculpture doesn't seem to have them in distant view and at this scale I don't think it's necessary. By altering the colors, the same techniques can be used for wood, ivory, bone...
