For this episode of Soft Focus, the musician and artist Genesis P-Orridge of COUM Transmissions, Throbbing Gristle, Psychic TV, and Thee Temple ov Psychick Youth was interviewed by Ian Svenonius at the Guggenheim Museum in New York City. Soft Focus was a web video series in which musician and author Ian Svenonius interviewed a panoply of his fellow tuneful humans. Directed by Apology podcast/magazine person and writer Jesse Pearson, these episodes are available in full, many for the first time in years, here—hopefully until the internet crumbles in a couple millennia, or at least until the media company Ian and Jesse initially made these for, which has let much of this series languish in obscurity, stirs itself from lassitude to send a cease-and-desist.
