Today was one of those fulfilling retirement days that remind me why I love simple living. I started by admiring the handmade flower pots crafted with the help of my hardworking assistant. Inspired by their beauty, I spent the better part of the day painting them and giving them a fresh new look. Later, I visited my kitchen garden and harvested ripe tomatoes. There is something special about sharing the fruits of your labor, so I packed some for my neighbors as a small gesture of kindness.
