Fishing Trip Date: July 5, 2026 I was invited by my mentor in Kyoto and taken care of by Yama-chan in Maizuru ✨ We set sail at 3 PM, wondering if the tide would be strong... But it was a nice, gentle current 👌 I attached krill to a long, five-hook bottom rig purchased on the boat and cast it out. We struggled with attacks from mackerel, but towards the end I got a powerful hit! It was a 37cm trevally 👍🎉 After that, we had a series of hits. As it got dark, we moved to the squid fishing area.
