Enterocutaneous Fistulas: FRIENDS and Management
This video explains what exactly fistulas are, and then goes into detail about enterocutaneous fistulas and the often-asked about FRIENDS of the fistula mnemonic. Clinical relevance of the FRIENDS factors are discussed, including how you might use them to keep open a therapeutic EC fistula (e.g. a G tube), or mitigate them to heal an unwanted fistula.
