Why does a Servo Controller need a 2 Amp power supply?
This video explores what happens if you feed it with a smaller power supply and seeks to show where all that power goes. Apologies, it’s a little on the tecchy side of things, but I’m really trying to answer one of the most common questions I get from new users. When I’m called with an “it doesn’t work” cry for help I’ll usually ask for the make and model of your power supply. This allows me to look up the specifications for your unit. The most common issue is the power supply is rated at led then 2 Amps. Watch along as we deliberately under feed a 12 channel Servo Controller and see it struggle to come to life.
