GREBEK BANDAR KUDA RENGGONG

Kuda Renggong is a folk art form originating from Sumedang. The word "renggong" in this art form is a metathesis of the word "ronggeng," which is "kamonesan" (Sundanese for "skill"), the gait of a horse trained to dance to the rhythm of music, especially drums. I had the opportunity to witness the Banyu Manik renggong horse being cared for and trained, along with the horse's owner and dealer in Ganasoli Hamlet, Kebonkalap Village, Cisarua District, Sumedang, West Java. #KrisnaEuy #KudaRenggong
