What 3 failed marriages to Jamaican men taught me about love, boundaries & myself

Was it just me… or did many of us grow up dreaming of marriage, children, and a perfect happily ever after? I certainly did. I imagined a beautiful home, a loving husband, and a peaceful life. But life didn’t follow my script. By the age of 23, I had three children by three different fathers. At 25, I came to Jamaica, met a man on the beach, and what I thought was love quickly became something very different. This is my story — not just of relationships and heartbreak, but of survival, intuition, trauma, awakening, and ultimately… spiritual understanding. Through each chapter of my life, I began to realise something deeper: Even in the chaos, even in the danger, even when I didn’t understand what was happening… God was still there. I just didn’t recognise Him yet.
