Enrico Caruso & John McCormack Duet - Lolita (1908-09)
Written by Antonio Buzzi-Peccia, "Lolita" was recorded by both Enrico Caruso (March 16, 1908 - Victor Records) and John McCormack (September 7, 1909 - Odeon Records). McCormack was a great admirer of Caruso and in some of his early recordings he would emulate him. This song is a great example of that. So now hear the Great Italian Tenor perform with the Great Irish Tenor.
