She studied in Catania with Gaetano Emanuel Calì and Matteo Adernò. She made her debut in 1928 at Teatro del Popolo of Milan in "Barbiere di Siviglia". After some years she began to sing operetta. She sung on most of important Italia opera stages, including Teatro Puccini in Milan, Arena Italia in Catania, Teatro Adriano in Rome or Teatro Duse in Bologna. She recorded numerous sides solo (opera and operetta arias) or in duets with Italian singers (e.g. Daniele Serra) in a lighter repertoire. Attention: this is a re-postiong of my old clip, that mysteriously disapeared from my archives. On this occassion, I remastered its surprisingly bad sound (a strange drone).
