He bought two acres of rocky land at an abandoned stone quarry in Mashamba Village, Msabaha, Kilifi County, with one bold dream: to farm. Even his own family doubted the decision, with his wife questioning how crops could ever grow on such unforgiving land. But armed with determination, passion for agriculture, and skills he acquired while studying Agriculture at Ribe High School in the 1990s, Jeff refused to give up. What followed was a patient and deliberate land restoration journey. Stone by stone, season by season, Jeff rehabilitated the degraded quarry, improving soil quality and introducing sustainable farming practices.
