Ffestiniog & Welsh Highland Railway diesel locos 1994-2000
The narrow gauge Ffestiniog & Welsh Highland Railways use diesel locomotives in the Boston Lodge Works and for shunting. On the main line the early morning school trains and some late evening trains are usually diesel hauled and diesels are also used in the case of breakdowns. There are a number of diesels of various types - most were built since in 1948 by various builders. They are seen in action including cab rides and a ride on the guard's seat on the rear of an oil tank car.
