FINNAIR A350-900 AY1332 Business Class - London to Helsinki, Delayed, Delayed, Delayed (4K)

After a 24hr stay in London after arriving on Qantas Flight QF1 the day prior, it was time to head to Helsinki for some mid-summer sun and fun. Unfortunately the aviation gods had other ideas and due to the late (very late) arrival of the operating aircraft from Helsinki, we were not going anywhere for a few hours. This Business Class flight was booked using 31,500 Qantas Frequent Flyer points. Also a factor in choosing this flight was the use of an Airbus A350 rather than the usual narrow body aircraft. Overall the delay was almost 2 and 1/2 hours. The service onboard was efficient (friendly in a Nordic way), the meal was good, especially the Chicken Side Salad & Sweet Roll for Dessert. I cannot recall what the main dish was... but is was ok... it would be nice to have an option, but sadly those days seem to have gone on Finnair. The seat, well it was one of the reasons I burnt through some points as the Air Lounge seat is one of my favourite Business Class seats of all airlines, not that this flight was long enough to fully enjoy it.
