I came to Matsumaru in Chiba Prefecture on an expedition to fish for striped jack, the highest quality type of horse mackerel. Around Kanagawa, the only striped jack boats you'll find are in the Izu area or Minami Boso in Chiba. I took advantage of Golden Week to go on another expedition this time. Bycatch include grunt, red sea bream, and black snook, so it's a fun fishing experience even for those not targeting the main target.
