I started giving our 3-year-old son some small responsibilities around the house. Some of them are just goofy, and fun like getting daddy a beer, but I try to make the chores fun for him. We are also trying to instill in him how good it feels to do things for others. He's not always up for it, but I'm hoping to instill these values in him at an early age will have a big effect.
