We'll be visiting three bakeries along the JR Sobu Line in Makuhari Hongo, Shin-Kemigawa, and Nishi-Chiba. "SAKAMOTO BAKERY" is located about a four-minute walk from Makuhari Hongo Station. It's a hidden gem, known only to those in the know, as it's located along the train tracks on the opposite side of the ocean. Stepping inside the store is sure to lift your spirits with its rows of stunningly beautiful breads! Breads purchased: Croissant (270 yen), Apple Pie (forgot to check the price), Chocolate and Orange (350 yen), and Currant and Walnut Campagne (360 yen). "Chiisana Bakery moitie" is located about a six-minute walk from Shin-Kemigawa Station, along a major street, making it relatively easy to find. The orange vending machine right in front of the store may be a better landmark than its exterior. Breads purchased: Grilled beef curry bread (300 yen), melon bread (190 yen), croissant (270 yen) "Chapeau de Paille" seems more like a sandwich specialty store than a bakery. They offer homemade baguettes, croissant sandwiches, and baked goods.
