学校給食にサクサクの地元産アジフライ！水産会社が平戸市へ3200食を寄贈

To let children know how delicious fish is, a fisheries company with a factory in Nagasaki Prefecture donated fried horse mackerel for school lunches to Hirado City. The fried horse mackerel is packed with the deliciousness of thick, meaty horse mackerel from Nagasaki Prefecture. Sanyo, a fisheries company headquartered in Fukuoka City, donated approximately 3,200 servings to Hirado City. Sanyo uses horse mackerel caught in Hirado and Matsuura and produces 200,000 servings a day, selling them both domestically and internationally, as well as continuing to donate to local governments and children's cafeterias. Hirado Mayor Yuji Matsuo also tasted the freshly made fried horse mackerel. Mayor Matsuo: "Yes! It's delicious even without any sauce. It's fluffy, tender, and crispy. I'll have some rice and miso soup!" Yohei Kubokawa, Manager of Sanyo Matsuura Sales Office: "We hope that by using fish caught in our town or from nearby areas to make products like this, it will be an opportunity for children to become interested in the fishing industry." The fried horse mackerel will be served in school lunches at elementary and junior high schools and childcare facilities in Hirado City.
