It’s unclear which shows will feature which members, but the classic rock band will play one Upstate New York show on Aug. 7 at the Erie County Fair in Hamburg. According to Ultimate Classic Rock, original Foreigner keyboardist Al Greenwood and longtime bassist Rick Wills are confirmed guests at the band’s upcoming Las Vegas residency and may also appear at “select” tour dates next year. Original singer Lou Gramm, a Rochester native who currently lives in Webster, N.Y., is reportedly in talks to make appearances, too, though he previously said he planned to retire at the end of this year. Gramm, Greenwood and Wills reunited Saturday when Foreigner was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Guitarist Mick Jones, drummer Dennis Elliott and late members Ian McDonald and Ed Gagliardi were also inducted in the Rock Hall. Jones is the only original member of Foreigner who is currently part of the band, though he no longer tours due to Parkinson’s disease. The touring lineup includes lead singer Kelly Hansen, guitarists Bruce Watson and Luis Maldonado, bassist Jeff Pilson, keyboardist Michael Bluestein and drummer Chris Frazier. “Performing the incredible catalog of music created by Mick Jones and the rest of the first incarnation of Foreigner is a dream come true for all of us,” Hansen said in an official statement. “After 20 years of proudly flying the Foreigner flag, we are thrilled to be periodically sharing the stage with the guys who started it all as we celebrate their Rock and Roll Hall of Fame recognition.” In addition to celebrating the band’s long overdue Rock and Roll hall of Fame induction, Foreigner is also promoting a new compilation album featuring the previously unreleased song “Turning Back the Time,” with vocals by Gramm. #foreigner #coldasice #feelslikethefirsttime #dirtywhiteboy #lougramm #mickjones #corbinarena #mtv #urgent #doublevision
