WHY COOLANT IS BOILING IN THE COOLANT TANK RESERVOIR ON A CAR If have a car and the coolant is boiling, antifreeze is boiling and you want to know some of the most common reasons why the coolant is boiling, antifreeze is boiling in this video we will explain that. It does not mean 100% that you have bad head gasket if the coolant is boiling, antifreeze is boiling. In some cases it could be something as simple as bad thermostat that could cause the coolant to boil, antifreeze is boiling. Air in the cooling system, if you did not bleed the cooling system the right way could cause the coolant to boil as well. Check the radiator fan, coolant level, test coolant temperature sensor and test radiator fan as well. Always inspect/replace the coolant tank radiator cap as well because bad radiator cap can cause the coolant to boil , antifreeze to boil.
