[FNAF\SFM] Identity - @grandson

About animation: So it's finally here. I was able to release it on my birthday and it only took about 3 years which is crazy to think about. I think the 1st time working on it I was in like 6-8 other collabs and I got burnt out by the time I finished it. I’m pretty sure that right after the springtrap finale I took a 4 month break and returned. Then like I think in 2023 I was working on it but got tired of animating and stopped for a long ass time then went to work on it for a week then stopped again til recently. The last min or so was done in 2 weeks I think. As much as I am proud of some shots I do still think there are some errors in the animation which I don’t like but tbh I can overlook it. I had a really fun time animating this when I did work, tried to do things I don’t usually do and I think it turned out pretty alright. Many references were used from anime or games like One Piece and those Roblox battleground games. I think I met him in the 1st year of animating and tbh I was kinda of an ass to him at the time. Later on, though we talked a lot and I got to learn much about him and his talents. He is an exceptional editor and helped me work on making some of the transitions, in the beginning, turn out nice. This guy is full of talent and I’m glad I got to know him ‪@ShadowTofficial‬ This guy is something. I remember at like one point in his career he was inspired by me and I was excited. I wanted to animate to pass the time and later on, I just wanted to have an impact on someone and I’m so glad I did for him at one point. He’s now really talented, I asked him for one of his scene-building sessions (the one which included scrap baby) and it helped me create an environment (wish I fixed the last shot where the light affected the spring trap). He has improved so much in a couple of months, I remember him being afraid of accidentally copying someone's style and messaging me about it. It had looked nice and I questioned why he worried about it a bit. I think that recreation can help you develop an idea of how their workflow is and you can use it to your ability for your creative stuff. He was able to do just that, every time I watch his videos I am intrigued with the lighting he has shown and the scenery. His animations have looked incredible and he keeps improving every day and I’m happy for him. ‪@CosmicSpectreAnim‬ I saved the best for last. So let's just get this straight, This dude didn't have a pc for 6 months and he kept begging for people to share his screen. He said it was his way of learning how people animate. I had taken a break from a friend's GC back in August because of some personal/mental issues. This dude decides to message me every day asking me if I’m working on identity. Even when I came back to the group chat to play Roblox, Valorant, or even Fortnite, this dude kept bugging me. Every day I was playing he was going “amazing are you animating”, “amazing get off the fucking game”, “amazing you should animate”, amazing lock-in”. I have never seen someone more persistent in my life. But Honestly, it was nice that someone wanted to talk to me and his watching people animate probably helped him because when he came back he did pretty good for someone supposedly rusty. He has improved so much through the many years I've been talking to him. He has 2 projects which I can’t wait to see the release of. He has helped a lot on the project, he helped work on some of the retextures with me and the thumbnail was all his idea. I am very grateful to get to know you and I hope you can pursue your animation goals, keep working hard. ------------------------------------------ Future of the channel This is likely my last big animation here. I may post occasionally, but I'll be less active overall. I'll mostly focus on paid or collaborative projects.
