Paint like Richard Diebenkorn Ocean Park Series - American abstract painting

Richard Diebenkorn is a famous American West Coast painter. He made a series of abstract paintings called The Ocean Park series. I like abstract art so I looked at his painting to be able to create my own Richard Diebenkorn Ocean Park series style painting. I show you my process and how I find my composition. At every next step I look at Richard Diebenkorn paintings. For my colors I also look at photographs of the Santa Monica Ocean Park area. Other materials I use are in random order: 5, 10 and 40mm brushes, palette knives, acrylics medium, Ecoline liquid watercolor, Lyra color pencils, Lyra soft pastels, oil pastels, Stabilo color pencils, paper palette pad and basic masking tape. I also use household items like a permanent marker, scrub sponge, scissors, paper towel, and so on.
