J. S. Bach: Fantasie BWV 562 & Fuge BWV 575 (arr. Revutsky, p1934)
Levko Revutsky (1889-1977) was an Ukrainian / soviet composer and pianist. He was one of the great contributors on Ukrainian musical life in the 20th century. He wrote 2 symphonies, 2 piano concertos, and many songs in the style of romanticism with the slight modernism (his piano concerto no.2 in 1934 is interesting!). Here is his transcription of the set of organ works by J. S. Bach for piano solo, that was published maybe for the first time in 1934 in Kiev and Khalikov. But it might be written in the late of 1920s when it was transcribed. https://composersukraine.org/index.ph... I don't know why he wrote it but it is a hidden gem. One of the characters of his transcription is the hand-crossing, octave with both hands, and double notes, all of them are effective.
