I am a 70-year-old Korean bicycle traveler. My sole bucket list item is a bicycle world tour. My two-wheeled journey, which began in 2015, continues unabated, traversing every corner of the globe—from the rugged Pamir Mountains and the nooks and crannies of Southeast Asia to Europe and the transcontinental traverse of Africa stretching from Nairobi to Cape Town. I want to share with you the vivid experiences I gain by diving directly into rugged nature and the lives of locals, rather than taking ordinary, comfortable paths.
