JUNIOR MOTOCROSS WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP 2024 HONORED Wow!! What an honor! I have been selected to participate in the world championship in Heerde! What a wonderful experience! What an event! So many fast riders from all over the world! 96 65cc riders participated. All vying for a spot at the fence on Sunday! Ultimately, only 40 riders are allowed to start! Super happy with my 13th place in the qualifying training! I can ride along!! Race 1: Not a good start. A few fell in front of me, so I had to hit the brakes, so I started the race from the back. Fell once during the race, but eventually managed to fight all the way back to p14. I still had 1 more jump before the finish. I fell hard on my head there, even causing a tooth to fall out. I was a bit confused and couldn't start my engine, which cost me a DNF 😓 Race 2: Another bad start, I had to swerve for someone who was going straight instead of around the bend 😅 I wasn't feeling well in this moto. Ultimately p23 I was super happy that I was among the fastest 40, which meant I could participate in the race! But I'm disappointed that the matches didn't go as well as I could have expected. There would have been a lot more residents... But this is also part of it. I can be a little proud that with my 10 years old (just a few months) I was able to compete for the world title 😃👍🏻 And how cool is it that my cross buddy Kash van Hamond has received that title!! Wat een eer! Ik ben geselecteerd om mee te rijden met het wereld kampioenschap in Heerde! Wat een super mooie ervaring! Wat een evenement! Zoveel snelle rijders van over de hele wereld! Er reden 96 65cc rijders mee. Allemaal strijden voor een plekje aan het hek op zondag! Er mogen namelijk uiteindelijk maar 40 rijders van start gaan! Super blij met mijn 13e plaats in de kwalificatie training! Ik mag meerijden!! Race 1: Geen goede start. Er vielen er een paar voor me, waardoor ik in de remmen moest, dus van achteraan begon ik de wedstrijd. Tijdens de wedstrijd een keer gevallen, maar uiteindelijk helemaal terug weten te vechten naar p14. Ik moest nog 1 springschans voor de finish. Ik viel daar hard op mijn hoofd, waardoor er zelfs een tand uit viel. Ik was een beetje in de war, kreeg mijn motor niet meer aan, wat me een DNF kostte 😓 Race 2: Weer een slechte start, ik moest uitwijken voor iemand die rechtdoor ging ipv de bocht om 😅 Ik zat er niet lekker op deze manche. Uiteindelijk p23 Aan de ene kant super blij dat ik bij de snelste 40 hoorde, waardoor ik de wedstrijd mee mocht rijden! Aan de andere kant baal ik dat de wedstrijden niet zo gingen als dat ik kan.. Er had veel meer ingezeten.. Maar ook dit hoort erbij. Ik mag best een beetje trotst zijn, dat ik met een paar maandjes 10 jaar al mee mocht strijden voor de wereldtitel! En hoe gaaf is het, dat mijn crossmaatje Kash van Hamond die titel heeft gekregen!! Gefeliciteerd Kash!
