Beetleweight Horizontal Spinner: Phantom II Design Teardown
We break down the design of our most battle-hardened beetleweight robot, Phantom II, and talk about the changes we've made as well as possible changes to come. Phantom II is a beetleweight combat robot, with an overhead horizontal spinner as its main weapon, and has been competing in numerous events since the summer of 2017. Phantom II, despite all of the many changes we have made to it over the course of the ten events it has competed in, has stayed true to the same fundamental design it started out with. With this version, we are finally happy enough with the bot and its construction to publish it for you all to enjoy. Stay tuned for exciting Phantom news in 2020! #Robots #BlackLightningRobotics #PhantomII
