Arriving in Caldas Novas via GO-139 (coming from MG/SP/RJ), we enter a kind of city bypass: the highways form a triangle around the central region, and around it are the Diroma complex, the Roman Empire, the Gardens of Rome, and many others, including the Serra Verde Shopping Mall and the Exhibition Park where Caldas Country takes place, for example. This short detour takes us to the foot of the Serra de Caldas – the giant forest reserve – and into the northwest side of the city, heading towards the Lagoa Quente Museum and Park area.
