Castlevania Rondo of Blood - Opposing Bloodlines [Cover By DAR] - STAGE 1

Special thanks also goes out to LegalShade as well for nominating this track in particular during CB3. I took way longer than I expected to get this one out. I got stuck in a creative rut for a while there, trying to wrap things up for RED PLANET II (among other things). I'm really glad I got to finally make use of that funky guitar sound. I've never really had a good opportunity to use it until now. Also, to keep close to the original's funkiness, I used my hammond organ plugin again for the second time (the first being in my Sorcerian cover). Though I think its a bit more subtle here than it was in my cover of Pillar Demons. Overall, I've tried to keep everything real close to the original, only sort of deviating slightly towards the last 1/3 of the cover. I also decided to try something a little different during the mastering phase. I think this cover came out sounding a little bit "brighter" than my previous covers. For the most part, I had a good time working on this one... until I somehow tore/pulled the muscle in the arch of my left foot (yeah, I don't know how I did either). It was right at the end of my video recording session too. Definitely not a fun way to end a session, let me tell you =(.
