Hello everyone, I wanted to share my moments during my Grandpa's celebration of life this past April 2024. I had the honor of performing my mom's song "Kuv Txiv Tus Zoo Tswv Ntuj" that she wrote for her dad (my Grandpa) for me to sing at his funeral. My mom poured her heart and soul into writing this song for her dad. This song was truly one of the most challenging song for me to record and sing because my mom's lyrics were so heart-felt and touching. I hope that you will enjoy this song as much as I did. It’s been about 5 months since you left Grandpa, and yet it still feels like a dream. Some days, the reality hits like a tidal wave, washing me away in a sea of tears. Other days, I catch myself smiling, remembering the joy you brought to my life. Grief is a rollercoaster, a complex tapestry of emotions. Kuv nco koj heev os yawm txiv laus. Grief is a heavy weight, a silent companion that can feel overwhelming. It's okay to feel lost, confused, and angry. There's no right or wrong way to grieve. Allow yourself to feel, to cry, to remember. There's no timeline for healing. It's a journey, one step at a time. Remember, you're not alone. Reach out to loved ones, seek support, and find solace in the memories you cherish. Healing takes time, but with patience and kindness, you'll find your way through.
