The cast of The Phantom of the Opera was officially introduced last night. It was an evening filled with glamour and a display of talent. Here's a sneak peek of this new production, which premieres in November at the Teatro de los Insurgentes. Andrew Lloyd Webber's THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, considered one of the most beautiful and spectacular musicals in the history of theater, returns to Spain. Produced by MORRIS GILBERT, CLAUDIO CARRERA, OCESA, and LETSGO, in association with ALFONSO J. GONZÁLEZ and MARÍA ELENA GALINDO, with DANIEL VILLAFAÑE and DIEGO CANTÚ as Associate Producers. Since its premiere at Her Majesty's Theatre in the West End in 1986 and on Broadway in 1988, THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA has been heard by over 160 million people in 205 cities, in 21 languages. Andrew Lloyd Webber's romantic, enchanting, and majestic music will resonate at the legendary INSURGENTS THEATRE starting this November. The version now coming to Mexico has triumphed in Madrid for two seasons, receiving standing ovations from over 300,000 people. The same production is now touring 20 cities in Spain.
