ENTRE AS VÍTIMAS ESTÃO A MULHER, A FILHA E A AMANTE.

Early morning on March 2, 1987, in the small town of Casalito in Marinha Grande, Sandra Maria Simões Jorge, 14, is awakened by her father, Vítor Jorge, who, desperate, asks her to get dressed quickly because he had just run over a man and needed her help. Almost on autopilot, Sandra obeys, because with her father, it wasn't even possible to question him; you obeyed and that was it. After getting dressed, the young woman follows her father to a pine forest, but when her father begins to walk through the pine trees, Sandra begins to wonder... where was the man who had been run over? That answer would be her own eyes giving her... something wasn't right... a few meters ahead, Sandra saw her own mother lying on the ground, motionless and covered in something red, distracted, but a short distance away, her older sister Anabela was in the same situation... but she was making a bubbling noise as she breathed... without realizing what was happening. Sandra looked at her father with frightened eyes... Dad? She asked... what's going on here? Vítor looked at his daughter and, with his eyes devoid of any kind of feeling, answered. Before them, there were five more on the whalebone beach, and before Sandra could even understand those words, Vítor raised the same blade that had taken the lives of his wife and her eldest daughter and tried to strike Sandra, but she dodged and escaped the attack. Vítor tried again, but Sandra was determined to fight for her life and tried to take the blade from her father as he grabbed her by the arm, trying to strike her. In a stroke of luck, Sandra managed to break free and run... she simply ran, without knowing where, but she ran, until she reached a village. It was 3:00 a.m. The young woman knocked on the doors of the houses she encountered and screamed for help, but although many later admitted to hearing her, they didn't dare open them out of fear. It was then that, on a deserted, dark street, Sandra saw a car maneuvering. It was a man who was arriving home from a café in the neighboring parish, which usually stayed open late. When he saw the desperate young woman running toward him, screaming, "My father, my mother, my sister... he wants me too!", the man froze, thought about fleeing as quickly as possible, but despite his fear that it was all a setup, he decided to help. He put Sandra in the car and took her to the café, where they called the National Republican Guard. . . .
