I am a member of the Ya Mo Battalion, 2nd Infantry Battalion, 9th Infantry Regiment, 9th Infantry Division, who fought at Ban Khlong Phaeng during the Thai-Cambodian War of 1968. (R.9 Bn.2) Interviewed by Saniroj Thammayot, Historical and Military Museum Advisor, National Memorial Institute, Royal Thai Armed Forces Headquarters. He holds a Master's degree in International Relations from Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand. He served as a United Nations Military Observer (UNMO) with the UN peacekeeping force in Timor-Leste and also provided military service in the three southern border provinces of Thailand. He successfully completed the Security of East Asia Seminar (SEAs 12: Security of East Asia Seminar 2012) in Hawaii, USA – covering Mongolia, Indonesia, and the Philippines; the Asia Regional Public Relations Officer Course in Washington, D.C., USA; the Canadian Armed Forces Civil Military Relations (CMR) course in Ottawa, Canada; the U.S. National Guard Public Relations course in Michigan, USA; and the Singapore Armed Forces Civil Military Relations Officer course. Currently, he serves as an advisor on military history and museums at the National Memorial, Royal Thai Armed Forces Headquarters; he has previously served as an advisor to the Veterans Welfare Organization; and he is a visiting lecturer at the Royal Thai Armed Forces Staff College, National Defence College, Kasetsart University, Chulalongkorn University, and King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang.
