Museu da Força Expedicionária Brasileira (FEB) em Belo Horizonte/MG 🇧🇷

The Museum of the Brazilian Expeditionary Force (FEB) is located at Rua Tupis, 723, Centro, Belo Horizonte/MG, and is controlled and maintained by the National Association of Veterans of the Brazilian Expeditionary Force - ANVFEB. The Museum's main objective is to recount Brazil's participation in World War II, highlighting the contribution of Brazilian and Minas Gerais combatants. During the Second World War (1939-1945), President Getúlio Vargas ordered that troops from the Brazilian Expeditionary Force (FEB) be sent to Italy to join the Allied forces against Nazism and Fascism. Brazilian soldiers participated in important battles, such as the capture of Montese, strongholds defended by the enemy. These soldiers were on the front lines of the fighting. The institution was created in 1986 and implemented in 1988. Its collection comprises various media distributed across six thematic rooms and consists of documents (photographs, newspapers, three-dimensional objects, weaponry, and clothing) that recount the participation of the Brazilian Expeditionary Force in the war.
