I Built the Ultimate Go-Kart for Abandoned Railroad Tracks
YES MY HAIR IS DIFFERENT This is the Rail Cart I have been designing, building and testing for the last year. This has been my senior project and im super excited to show it to y'all. This one of a kind build now comes with cup holders, camp chairs, lights, the ability to hold 4 people and a horn. It is an awesome build and im super proud. If you would consider subscribing that would mean a lot. One from Watsonville to the Santa Cruz boardwalk and one from Santa Cruz along the coast up to davenport. Both of these I saw in other youtubers videos. However, the davenport one turned out to be non accessible/practical for big rail carts. The spots to get on were either far from the road, behind gates, or overgrown. In the video the guy had a rail bike and was able to move around the dead parts. As for in the video, that track we had to turn around do to overgrowth. It's not shown in the video but we got to a part that had rocks all over it and even more vines and weeds that in the video. We were never gonna make it. Also almost all of the bushes were thorny and that's why we were yelling in pain. Are arms even got tons of bumps and swelled up. In the guys video he went in more of the winter and so I think that there was way less overgrowth. On top of that, these railroads are regulated closely by the people who own the land around the track and while we got on, I HIGHLY recommend you don't go and instead go somewhere else. I know lots of places just ask me in the comments. If you do go, start further down the road (such as Buena Vista Dr possibly). We ran outta time to go try this option. Also don't go to far into the city not all the bridges are safe. I don't own the music in the video. #RailKart #GoKart #AbandonedTracks #DIYEngineering #projectbuild
