As the winter turns to spring, Squeaks and Mr. Brown begin planning the garden they’re going to grow this summer! But they need a little help, so The Fort’s gardener, Juniper, stops by to make sure they grow the best garden they can! Performance Expectation: 1-ESS1-2 Make observations at different times of year to relate the amount of daylight to the time of year. Second Grade Next Generation Science Standards Disciplinary Core Idea: LS2.A: Interdependent Relationships in Ecosystems - Plants depend on water and light to grow (2-LS2-1).
