Some want to be rich on this earth even if they face poverty in eternity. 1 PREPARE TO BE RICH Verse: “But if I die, I gain.” The Greek word used is KERDOS, which means total gain. The apostle Paul wanted to serve, but we want to be served. 2 PREPARE YOURSELF PERSONALLY VERSE: “If I live, I want to serve Christ.” Everyone decides what or for whom they live. DO NOT EXCHANGE TRUE WEALTH FOR THAT WHICH IS ONLY APPEARANCE. 3 PREPARE TO LIVE IN WEALTH Galatians 2:20 "...it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me..." Our greatest wealth must be Christ. Conclusion: 2 Timothy 4:6-8 "My death is almost here, and my death will be my offering to God. I have striven to obey God in all things, and I have succeeded; I have reached the goal, and I have not lost my trust in God.
