Through The Deverakonda Foundation, he awarded scholarships to 180 meritorious students from 45 government schools in the Achampet division of Nagarkurnool district. The scholarships were presented to students who secured first and second ranks in Classes 9 and 10. The event was attended by Vijay Deverakonda, actress Rashmika Mandanna, his mother Madhavi, Achampet MLA Vamsi Krishna, and District Education Officer Ramesh. Vijay had earlier announced this initiative during a reception held in his native village, Thummanpet, and has now turned his promise into reality.
