This unique project, performed by Romania’s legendary National Chamber Choir "Madrigal – Marin Constantin," is a grand tribute to the people of Pakistan and a testament to the enduring friendship between our two nations. Originally composed as an orchestral piece in 1949 by Ahmed G. Chagla, the "Qaumi Taranah" is a complex masterpiece featuring 38 different tones and 21 instruments. For the first time in history, these intricate orchestral elements have been reimagined for human voices. The Madrigal Choir has transformed the anthem into a polyphonic choral work, delicately balancing the original melody across Soprano, Alto, Tenor, and Bass sections while maintaining the majestic dignity of Hafeez Jalandhari’s Persian-inspired Urdu lyrics.
